I'm lost in my thoughts
and darkness does surround
i can't see much of anything
there's madness all around

i'll fight for my cause
there's reason to this fact
these are my emotions here
i'll try to stay intact

my confusion has not settled
my sanity is at stake
i'm losing to the silence
and this is not so fake

this feeling may be real
but anxiety takes it toll
i'm lost within this chaos
but this emotion just won't roll

i once felt so alive
but inside i'm now dead
these visions are just so maddening
but it's all just in my head

i'm now at a loss for words
though i may have lost my mind
i'll just sit here and keep thinking
cause maybe i'll find the time..
